Tim Longworth
Founder
Cornerstone Insurance is the culmination of Tim’s 22 years of industry experience along with 37 simultaneous years of other business experiences. Tim started in this business in 1979, yes pre fax machine. Over time through the good, the bad, even the downright ugly times, proven success formulas have been developed and mastered so that anyone here that wants to love their career and thrive can. Tim says “great rewards depend on great client experiences. Great client experiences depend on trusted, knowledgeable, happy people.”
Building industry and community leaders and witnessing their successes has been Tim’s passion during his Cornerstone tenure. Cornerstone Insurance inwardly and outwardly reflects the values of trust, respect, service, proactive behavior and teamwork. Beyond the company he enjoys being surrounded by nature, four seasons of fishing, improving at golf (there’s lots of room), great home and restaurant dining and social experiences with friends and family.
Tim’s actions demonstrate his strongly held belief that one ought to give back to the communities that we are so fortune to be a part of. Those same 37 years have also been very rewarding years of personal and corporate contributions of time, talent and treasure.
Shantel Kalika, CAIB
Chief Executive Officer
Shantel Kalika was born and raised in Prince Albert, SK and began her journey with Cornerstone Insurance in 2014. Over the years, Shantel has achieved her CAIB designation, gained experience in both our Commercial Lines and Personal Lines departments, served as the acting Chief Sales Officer from 2018 to 2023 and in November 2023, assumed the role of CEO.
With Shantel’s strategic acumen, she leads with a visionary approach that emphasizes a collaborative and inclusive leadership style, fostering a culture of creativity and teamwork. Shantel’s leadership philosophy centers on empowering employees, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, and creating an environment where both personal and professional growth thrive.
Shantel is not only dedicated to steering Cornerstone Insurances to success, but also to steering her stock car and making a positive impact beyond the insurance industry. Some of Shantel’s racing accolades include:

In addition to her professional career and achievements in stock car racing, Shantel is deeply rooted in the importance of family. As a devoted and proud “boy mom”, she finds immense joy in raising her son alongside her husband and cherishes the precious moments spent together as a family. Shantel also loves escaping to the lake and getting out for a round of golf any chance she can.
Brock Longworth, CPIB, CRM, CCIB, ACSB, FCIP

Brock literally grew up in the insurance industry, having started working at Cornerstone Insurance at the age of 15, and issuing his own driver’s license shortly thereafter. Brock obtained his broker’s license at the age of 17, and has been around insurance ever since! As someone dedicated to a life of learning, Brock has obtained and currently holds 7 industry designations (CAIB CPIB CCIB CRM ACSB CIP FCIP).
Having been recognized by Insurance Business Canada as one of the nation’s top 30 brokers for the past 5 years, Brock is someone who is well known and regarded across the insurance landscape of Canada. Brock was also recently featured as one of the top 10 brokers under the age of 40 by Canadian Insurance.
Brock works closely with the staff of Cornerstone Insurance to hone the skills, and product knowledge of staff to ensure that Cornerstone Insurance delivers an exceptional customer experience. One of the accomplishments Brock is most proud of, is Cornerstone Insurance’s national placement as a top customer experience brokerage at the 2017 Insurance Business Awards Ceremony in Toronto.
When not around the office Brock enjoys spending time in the gym, at the lake or spending time with friends. Brock also enjoys travelling, and staying connected (big preference for planes with wifi)
Beth Wiebe, CAIB
Chief Execution Officer
Beth began her insurance career in 2011, spending her first seven years as a dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager. Her deep understanding of client needs, paired with a natural inclination for process efficiency, led her to transition into operations—where her impact truly shines. Now serving as the Chief Execution Officer, Beth specializes in system implementation, vendor relationship management, and optimizing company-wide processes. She brings a strategic lens to operational challenges, leading cross-functional initiatives that enhance both internal efficiency and client experience.
As a leader with a mindset on execution excellence—bridging the gap between strategy and operations. She plays a pivotal role in translating organizational goals into actionable plans, ensuring that day-to-day operations are tightly aligned with long-term business objectives. Her work helps commit execution management as a core competency, fostering accountability and follow-through across teams.
Beth draws on over a decade of industry experience to offer practical insight into operational strategy, change management, and technology integration. Her people-first approach and commitment to continuous improvement make her a trusted voice in conversations both inside and outside the brokerage.
Megan Pellegrini, BBA, CPHR
Chief Human Resources Officer
Megan is a dedicated HR leader with a passion for building high-performance, resilient teams. As Chief Human Resources Officer at Cornerstone, she leads the development of the organization’s people framework, balancing regulatory compliance with structures that empower excellence across all levels.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Human Resources, a Finance diploma, and the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation, which reflects her deep expertise and commitment to HR excellence. She began her journey with Cornerstone at reception, quickly moving into the role of HR Coordinator where she built trusted relationships and became a go-to resource for people-focused guidance. Her drive, integrity, and competitive spirit propelled her into leadership as Director of HR and ultimately to her current role as CHRO.
With a keen understanding of organizational culture, Megan is committed to building an intentional environment that supports Cornerstone’s vision of being the best place to work in Saskatchewan. She brings a people-first mindset while navigating the demands of a fast-paced, high-performance organization, ensuring that trust remains the foundation of every interaction in an increasingly digital world.
Megan’s leadership has been recognized with the CPHR Saskatchewan Rising Star Award, which honors members in the early stages of their career who demonstrate exceptional promise as future HR leaders. A former collegiate soccer player, she was also an Athletic All-Canadian and 2-time national silver medalist, achievements that continue to inform her disciplined, team-first approach to leadership.
Outside of work, Megan is grounded and energized by her husband and their dog, Alfredo. They cherish every moment at their family cabins on Emma Lake, often boating to visit friends and family or sneaking in a round of golf whenever they can.
Jennifer Durand, CPA, CGA, HBCom
Controller
Jennifer graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University in 2014 and earned her CPA, CGA designation shortly after. As Controller at Cornerstone Insurance, she oversees the majority of both personal and commercial insurance accounting processes and serves as the main point of contact for all accounting matters. Jennifer is passionate about process improvement and resolving complex accounting issues. Her experience spans the real estate, aviation, and construction industries, and she previously worked in public accounting before joining Cornerstone Insurance.
Outside of work, Jennifer serves on the board of the Rose Garden Hospice. She enjoys life on her acreage, spending time with family and friends—including her two granddaughters—and relaxing with a good book.

Jenna Henderson
Director of Personal Lines

Jenna began her career with Cornerstone Insurance in 2015, starting in the motor license issuing department and has since transitioned into a Personal Lines Account Manager at our Christopher Lake branch. Jenna’s focus is personal auto, snowmobile insurance, boats, condos, homeowners insurance and tenant policies. Jenna is a dedicated team player who enjoys assisting clients as well as her teammates to make sure clients are getting the best service possible.
Ria Karoutis, CAIB
Director of Personal Lines
Originally from Greece, Ria moved to Canada at the age of 9 and has been proud to call Saskatoon, Saskatchewan her home ever since.
Ria is deeply passionate about building connections and truly getting to know people. She believes that all relationships whether personal or professional, begin with trust and caring for people on a personal level is where it all starts.
Her excitement for the insurance industry stems from the thrill of encountering something new and different every day. The constant learning and the challenge of writing risks she’s never encountered before provide an adrenaline rush like no other – even while sitting at a desk.
Ria is excited to bring her passion for people and enthusiasm for the insurance industry to Cornerstone Insurance. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with clients and contributing to the team’s continued success.
Rozeni Aguilar, CAIB
Personal Lines Account Executive
Rozeni started with Cornerstone Insurance in May 2021 after graduating with a Business Management Diploma at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. She grew up in the Philippines, where she practiced as a Hospital Pharmacist for 6 years before moving to Canada with her family. Her broad experience, coupled with interpersonal and analytical skills have provided her with the right foundation to enter the insurance industry and further her career.
Rozeni currently provides service for personal auto insurance. She welcomes everyone with a smile and is very dedicated in assisting our clients with obtaining the protection they need. Outside the office, Rozeni enjoys outdoor activities, learning about different cultures, and relaxing with her family.
Kandace McCallum
Personal Lines Account Executive
Kandace is a Personal Lines Account Executive based in Saskatoon, with a strong focus on habitational insurance, particularly high-value homes and boats. She began her career in April 2023 and joined the Cornerstone family in July 2024.
With a reputation for her meticulous and client-focused approach, Kandace ensures each client receives personalized coverage that protects their most valued assets. She is currently pursuing her CAIB designation to deepen her expertise and continue providing top-tier service to her clients.
Jessica Waldron, CAIB

Originally from England, Jessica moved to Saskatoon at age 11 and has called it home ever since. With 3.5 years of experience in the insurance industry, she thrives on the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of the field, where each day presents new opportunities for learning. She is passionate about supporting clients through one of their most significant purchases and take pride in her role within that process.
Outside of work, you can find her reading, taking walks, and spending time with family, friends, and her dogs Juno & Toast.
Luke Stead
Personal Lines Account Executive
Luke was born and raised in Prince Albert, where he has lived his entire life.
His professional journey began at a local tire shop, where he worked for a few years and gained valuable hands-on experience. He eventually discovered a keen interest in the world of insurance, which led them to a position in Motor License Issuing. This role sparked Luke’s passion for the industry and motivated him to pursue a career as an insurance broker.
Eager to see what the future holds, Luke is committed to personal and professional growth within the field of insurance.
Outside of work, Luke has a wide range of interests. He loves to travel and explore new places, finding joy in listening to music, and having a passion for drumming. Additionally, he enjoys golfing and cherishes sharing good times with friends. These activities provide a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle, enriching their personal life as much as his professional endeavors.
Victor Ifechigha

Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Victor moved to Prince Albert in March 2023 to pursue a graduate degree in Business. With over eight years of experience in Banking and Business Process Improvement, Victor brings a wealth of knowledge to his new endeavors. He is certified in mutual funds in Canada, holding an IFIC qualification, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Victor has a deep passion for business improvement and, more recently, insurance. He believes insurance allows him to engage in meaningful problem-solving for people, and he appreciates its dynamic, ever-changing nature. Victor‘s professional expertise includes finance, risk management, and business solutions. He is dedicated to leveraging his skills to create impactful improvements in the insurance industry.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Victor is a dedicated husband and loving father. When not spending time with his family, you will find him on the soccer pitch. He is an Assistant Coach for the Prince Albert Celtics U-19 team and is actively working on obtaining his coaching badges.
Jana Budan, CAIB

Jana has been an insurance broker since 1996 and joined the Cornerstone team in 2016 as a Personal Lines Executive. She works at the Christopher Lake branch with a focus on Personal lines including home, seasonal, ATVs, snowmobiles, farms, boats, automobiles and more.
Away from the office you can find Jana on the lake fishing or boating or on her snowmobile.
Monica Holz
Personal Lines Account Manager
Monica came to Cornerstone Insurance in 2008 and started out as a Motor License Issuer. After less than a year, she studied to become a Personal Lines broker, a position she held until August of 2020. After a brief absence (attempt at retirement), she came back to Cornerstone in January 2022 as a Receptionist. Itching to get back to the customer facing side of things, Monica rejoined the Personal Lines broker team January 2024 allowing her to once again showcase her customer service skills and provide support to other brokers.
She enjoys spending time with her kids and grand kids. Her other passions include cooking, painting landscapes and golfing.
Angelique Madura
Personal Lines Account Manager
Angelique joined Cornerstone Insurance in September 2021, bringing over a decade of experience in customer service and leadership as an Assistant Branch Manager in the financial sector. This background has shaped her ability to excel in the fast-paced world of insurance.
After returning from maternity leave, Angelique transitioned from a dual role to a full-time position in the Personal Lines department. Recently, she obtained her licenses in both Alberta (AB) and Manitoba (MB), and completed her CAIB 1 designation to further support her clients and expand her industry knowledge.
Angelique finds fulfillment in supporting her team behind the scenes and contributing to the overall success of the company. Helping others in meaningful ways truly “fills up her cup,” and she’s passionate about making a positive impact on both her colleagues and clients.
Outside of work, Angelique enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and traveling to discover new cultures, foods, and music.
Mak Chartier
Personal Lines Account Manager
Mak grew up in a small town in southeastern Saskatchewan and moved to Saskatoon in 2022. Shortly after, she met her partner and, in the fall of 2024, they settled on an acreage near MacDowall, SK.
Life on the acreage keeps them busy with their cattle, but Mak also enjoys spending time outdoors in her garden, traveling to new destinations, snowboarding in the winter, and side-by-siding in the summer. Indoors, she loves experimenting in the kitchen—always eager to try new recipes and take on culinary challenges—and relaxing with their cat, Tico.
Although she never expected to end up in the insurance industry, Mak began working as an MLI in early 2021 while attending college. From there, she developed a strong passion for the field and knew she wanted to grow her career. She enjoys the variety each day brings and values the opportunity to help clients and build meaningful relationships.
Mak is currently an Auto-Only Broker and is actively working on completing her CAIB 1, with plans to earn her full designation.
Erika Johnson
Personal Lines Account Manager, CAIB
Erika, originally from Delisle, Saskatchewan, relocated to Saskatoon in 2004, immersing herself in the restaurant and bar industry for 15 years. During this time, she honed her customer service and management skills. In 2016 she welcomed her son and in 2018 her daughter, marking the beginning of a family-focused chapter that prompted her return to Delisle in 2020.
Together with her husband, Erika actively supports her children’s sports activities throughout the year, cherishing valuable family moments. In 2021, she made a significant career shift into the insurance industry, swiftly acquiring a level 2 license and setting her sights on obtaining her CAIB designation, showcasing her unwavering commitment to professional development.
Despite the demands of her bustling life, Erika finds peace in gardening and joy in music. Her journey serves as a testament to achieving a harmonious balance between career aspirations and a steadfast dedication to family, resulting in a life brimming with inspiration and happiness.
Jaspreet Kaur
Personal Lines Account Manager
Starting her journey at Cornerstone as a Receptionist, Jaspreet built a strong foundation in customer service and quickly became known for her warm, reliable presence. Her transition into Personal Lines was driven by a desire to deepen client relationships and provide tailored insurance solutions that offer real peace of mind.
Connection, trust, and community are values Jaspreet holds close – and they’re at the heart of every interaction she has.
Outside of work, Jaspreet finds joy in travel and nature – exploring new places and spending time outdoors helps her recharge and stay inspired. These passions mirror her approach to work : grounded, adventurous, and always open to growth.
Kenzie Risom

Born in Calgary and raised in Prince Albert from the age of six, Kenzie has always considered Prince Albert home, even after traveling and exploring beyond its borders. Her greatest passions include spending time with her fiancé, her beloved dogs, and her close-knit circle of family and friends.
Kenzie was drawn to the insurance industry by her desire to help others and the strong sense of community it fosters. Known for her kindness, motivation, and attention to detail, she brings a thoughtful and client-focused approach to her work.

Ryan Sokulski, CAIB CIP

Ryan joined the Cornerstone team in 2018. His career journey started him out as a Motor License Issuer working at the front counter. That same year, he transitioned into the Commercial Department as an Account Manager. Upon housing his own commercial book of business, Ryan took on the role of Account Executive. The latest chapter, has resulted in Ryan assuming the role of the Director of our Commercial Lines Department. Serving as a valuable resource to both his clients, and our team.
Shortly after accepting the position with Cornerstone Ryan began exploring his education. This lead to him obtaining his CAIB designation in 2020, becoming a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker. Before long, Ryan began his pursuit of the CIP designation through the Insurance Institute of Canada. Upon completion in 2023, Ryan proudly became a Chartered Insurance Professional.
Ryan was born and raised just outside Prince Albert on the family farm. He holds strong roots in Prince Albert and is eager to continue building towards his personal and his community’s success.
He is passionate about the insurance industry. Striving to instill confidence in his client’s and their insurance portfolios through education, risk management and trust.
Adam Berg, CAIB

Adam moved to Prince Albert in 2007 where he found a short-term gig as a professional painter. However, it was in 2012 that he discovered the world of insurance. Finding that his drive and desire to help others through protecting their futures, businesses and families was what he was born to do.
Adam has joined the Cornerstone family in 2021 bringing with him a breadth of knowledge he gained from his previous 8 years of insurance experience. He is looking forward to spending many more years servicing his current clients with care & expertise. Adam has a deep passion for seeing his client’s businesses succeed and providing risk management solutions to them through providing the right insurance to fit each businesses unique set of needs.
When Adam is not in the office you can find him enjoying the outdoors, exploring the riverbanks, lakes, and parks. He loves spending time with his family of 6 and his friends. He is always on the hunt to reel in his next big fish or for his next adventure.
Levi Smith, CAIB, ACIP, CRM
Commercial Lines Account Executive
Levi started his insurance career as an SGI Motor License Issuer, which was where he discovered his passion for insurance and helping others understand the complications of the many insurance products.
Based out of Saskatoon, SK, he joined the Cornerstone family in June of 2022. He demonstrates a dedication for learning and has earned his Commercial Insurance Certificate, Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB), Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designations, which have provided him the ability to effectively assist clients in various business industries. He recognizes that the business world is ever changing and there is something new to be learned everyday. As such, he looks forward to every opportunity to learn and will seldom turn down a challenge. He also has a particular interest in professional liability, technology, new and unique businesses/risks!
Levi has a passion for fitness, watches, and music. When away from work he can be found in the gym, shopping for a new watch or drumming! Just do not ask him about the watch he’s wearing if you’re in a rush (you’ve been warned).
Jeff Snell, CIP
Commercial Lines Account Executive
Born and raised in Prince Albert, SK, Jeff came to us with a background in Business Administration and years of public service with the Government of Saskatchewan.
Jeff entered the insurance industry in 2013 and spent 9 years with a national property & casualty independent adjusting firm. He worked his way into the roles of Multi-Lines Senior Adjuster and Branch Manager, as well as earned his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. After spending a great deal of time handling Insurance claims from British Columbia to Ontario, Jeff now looks forward to assisting clients in finding the right commercial insurance solutions for their individual business needs and advocating for them in the event of a claim.
When not serving clients in the office, Jeff enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially at Candle Lake during the summer months. Kayaking, swimming, and boating rank among his favorite pastimes, as do gaming, horror films, and sports. Jeff is an avid fan of the New Jersey Devils, New England Patriots, and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Naomi Schnitzler, CAIB
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Naomi joined the Cornerstone Insurance family in 2005 bringing with her tons of customer service, management and IT experience. During a span of almost 10 years, she took on many responsibilities including supervising the MLI department & IT Manager. In 2015, she made a huge decision to pursue a career in photography alongside her sister to nurture her creative nature. Through this experience, she was able to apply her desire to provide clients with exceptional service in a completely different setting – all the way from assisting with the photo sessions – Clifford the Dog puppet being her greatest ally, helping the families choose their images and editing the digital files.
In February of 2019, after a 4-year hiatus, she was thrilled to rejoin the Cornerstone team as the Motor License Issuer Manager! The summer of 2020 brought around more changes when she decided to relocate with her husband to the lovely town of Rosetown, SK. She successfully completed her Level 2 insurance licensing exams that allowed her to join the Commercial Lines team as a remote Account Manager – excited to still be a member of the Cornerstone family and assisting clients in a different way.
In her spare time, when she’s not spoiling her grandson, you can find her at the cabin, spending time with her family, perusing the aisles at Michaels looking for her next craft idea or watching her favorite movies.
Megan Wells, CAIB
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Megan started her insurance career with Cornerstone Insurance immediately after Graduating from Saskatoon Business College in 2013. She started in accounting/personal lines but very promptly moved into her role in the Commercial Lines Department.Megan is born and raised in Prince Albert and has strong family ties to the business, construction and aggregate industry which has been an asset in her career and continues to allow her to learn, grow and build relationships.With business and shop talk being around the dinner table from a very young age, it has instilled a strong work ethic and career driven attitude in her. Her type A personality and willingness to go above and beyond for her clients and employers is what makes her a great professional. Megan truly believes is giving the same level of service and experience she would like to have when dealing with clients.It wasn’t long after Megan started at Cornerstone that she earned her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker certificate and looks forward to continuing her education in the future.If Megan is not at work, you will find her busy and enjoying all the little moments in life with her 3 beautiful children, her husband (as long as he is not golfing or managing our local Golf Course) and their Bernedoodle, Eddie.
Alyssa Kezar, CAIB

Alyssa grew up in the insurance world with a father who spent many years selling life insurance. He had an office within the Cornerstone Insurance building. Alyssa has been roaming the office since she was ten years old. She officially became a part of the Cornerstone Insurance family in 2009. She has a background in motor licensing and completed her (CAIB) Canadian Accredited Insurance Brokers Designation in 2015. Alyssa has excelled in the Commercial Lines department as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. She is very proficient in various types of business insurance including surety. She enjoys building relationships with clients and providing them with a high level of customer service.
Heather Rolfes, CAIB, BCom

Heather’s journey in insurance began back in 2004, when she moved to the welcoming community of Birch Hills. What started as a part time job while her kids were young quickly grew into a full time rewarding and engaging career — focusing on Commercial/Farm insurance, helping businesses protect what matters most. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a background in Commerce, Heather brings a sharp eye for detail and accuracy to every client she works with.
Since joining Cornerstone, she’s embraced new technology to connect with customers both near and far, building lasting relationships along the way.
When she’s not working, Heather loves to explore the world. Italy holds a special place in her heart — walking through centuries of history where her partner’s family comes from was unforgettable. At home, life is full of joy with her partner, kids and their two dogs, Oakley and Chloe. Whether it’s going for walks, playing tennis, or practicing yoga, Heather finds balance in the everyday moments.
She also treasures time at Redberry Lake Sailing Club, a place filled with childhood memories of summers spent on the water. Gatherings with family and friends are another highlight, where music, laughter, and stories bring everyone together — even with loved ones now spread across the globe. Heather feels grateful for every chance to visit and is especially excited about traveling to New Zealand while her daughter studies there.

Corissa Depeel
Senior Licensing Specialist
Corissa joined the Motor Licensing team in October of 2021.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog as well as spending time with close friends. Her and her husband are avid boardgame enthusiasts and have amassed an extensive collection. She also enjoys sewing, painting, and other crafts and DYI projects, one of the more recent ones being the customization of gaming consoles and controllers.
Charmaine Delos Santos
Motor License Issuer
Originally from the Philippines, Charmaine decided to come to Canada in 2019 as an international student.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing Management. She also earned an Office Administration Certificate at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
By far, her greatest achievement has been getting her permanent residency in Canada and looking forward to getting her Canadian Citizenship.
She enjoys watching movies and vlogs with her husband. She loves to travel, learn different cultures, try new dishes, and do online shopping.

Andrei became a cherished member of the Cornerstone crew in July of 2021. He thrives on customer interactions where he gets to showcase his upbeat and helpful personality.
During his downtime, you can find him at the gym or relaxing at home. He recently found a passion for kayaking in the many beautiful lakes around Prince Albert and has also embraced the thrill of mountain biking, discovering new trails in his spare time.

Shelby Quiring

Originally from the Nipawin area, Shelby moved to Prince Albert in 2015. She joined our Motor Licensing team in August of 2023.
During her free time, Shelby enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys Jeopardy nights with her family, reading and going for walks.
Bryn Mengell
Motor License Issuer
Bryn was born and raised in the Prince Albert area, where he developed a strong appreciation for both his community and the world beyond. Over the years, he’s had the opportunity to travel overseas, spending many summer vacations exploring new cultures and experiences. Bryn is bilingual, fluent in both French and English, which has enriched his interactions with a diverse range of people.
One of his greatest passions is reading; as an avid book collector, with more volumes than his shelves can hold! When he’s not immersed in a book, Bryn enjoys spending quality time with friends and family through board games and video games. These shared moments are important to him, as they bring them closer and provide a great way to unwind and have fun.
In Bryn’s professional life, he’s deeply committed to helping others. He finds genuine satisfaction in brightening someone’s day and making a positive impact on their life, which drives his work every day.
Jordan Lafleur

Jordan grew up in a small town just outside Prince Albert before heading to Saskatoon to study Computer Systems Technology. After two years of university, he realized that working with computers wasn’t his true calling—and began seeking a career that allowed him to connect with people. With a strong blend of analytical thinking, interpersonal skills, determination, and small-town heart, Jordan found his place in Motor Licensing.
In his spare time, Jordan is always on the lookout for new challenges and opportunities to learn. His ever-growing list of skills includes playing guitar and drums, competing in track and field, sewing and embroidery, crochet, graphic and web design, energy advising, photography, cooking and baking, mechanics, and more. When he’s not learning something new, you’ll find him spending quality time with family or enjoying a good video game.
Jordan is best described as an old soul. He’s passionate about reviving the style and spirit of the 1950s—from classic cars and vintage fashion to retro hairstyles and home aesthetics. He values meaningful conversation and a good cup of coffee, always bringing warmth and authenticity to every interaction.
Melanie Gulbis

Melanie joined the Cornerstone team in May 2025, shortly after relocating to Prince Albert in December 2024. She brings with her a diploma in Business Administration and over 20 years of combined management experience. Known for thriving in fast-paced environments and adapting to evolving technologies, Melanie has earned consistent recognition for her leadership and—most importantly—her dedication to exceptional customer service.
But for Melanie, customer service goes beyond transactions. She believes in creating meaningful connections, both personally and professionally. Every interaction is treated as an opportunity to leave a lasting, positive impression. Whether it’s sharing a light-hearted joke or offering a warm handshake to close a conversation, Melanie’s approach blends professionalism with genuine positivity. Her aspiration to become an inspirational speaker has already led to opportunities on stage, where she continues to pursue her goal of changing the world—one smile at a time.

Michelle brings a rich background in sales and management, having worked her way up through the ranks to lead a fast-paced furniture store. Her hands-on experience in growing and maintaining a thriving retail environment has given her a deep understanding of customer needs and the importance of building lasting relationships. Through her work, she’s connected with a wide variety of people and developed a strong familiarity with the Prince Albert region, which she proudly calls home.
Outside of work, Michelle is an avid gardener who spends her time planning and tending to her flowerbeds year-round. She’s also a passionate sports fan, cheering for any and all teams, and especially loves the excitement of Olympic years. Her enthusiasm, local insight, and dedication to customer care make her a valued member of the team.

Katherine Joined the Cornerstone family in 2021, where she quickly excelled to provide advice and service in all things Motor Licensing.
She’s fun, energetic and always looking to build long lasting relationships with her clients. Kat is always smiling and strives to provide fantastic client service for anyone that walks through the doors.
When she is not at work you can find her at her home in Christopher Lake, tinkering around the house, chasing her daughter or relaxing at home with her boyfriend. She loves fishing, and driving her sports car, and enjoying warm summer days.

Brandy brings over 27 years of client service and management experience, paired with a diploma in Web Design & Development. Her background in resort management and technology gives her a unique ability to combine calm professionalism with adaptability to new systems. As a licensed broker and Motor License Issuer, she is passionate about making processes simple, accurate, and stress-free for clients.
Outside of work, Brandy enjoys recharging in nature, spending time with animals, and diving into hands-on creative and tech projects.

Lisa Wilkinson
Senior Account Operations Specialist
Lisa began her career in insurance in 2012 filling in for a maternity leave at our Birch Hills location. The maternity leave that sparked an interest in insurance that turned into a successful career with Cornerstone Insurance. As a licensed insurance broker, she currently works in the finance and administration department supporting the personal and commercial insurance teams by looking after insurance policy transactions and document flow to the client files. We call her our golden child in the department as her knowledge and accuracy with work flows is respected to a level where we feel she can do no wrong. She is committed, driven and team focused. She may be shy, but she never hesitates to introduce an improvement or to ensure that client information is handled in the most optimal way. Lisa also backs ups the motor licensing department at the Birch Hills location and has experience with plate renewals, driver’s license renewals, policy payments and any auto policy changes or questions. In her time off, Lisa enjoys travelling and has visited 10 different countries so far and hopes to expand that list in the future.

Spencer Stadnek is an experienced results-driven digital marketing coordinator with a passion for leveraging the power of digital marketing to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Spencer has been doing digital marketing for 10+ years with 7 of them specifically spent on marketing insurance products.
Armed with a keen understanding of the ever-evolving world of online marketing, Spencer is dedicated to crafting innovative strategies with a focus on generating results that can be measured.
Throughout Spencer’s career, his dedication to excellence has been evident in the form of enhanced customer engagement and quantifiable growth in online revenue.
Spencer’s ability to adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape, coupled with an unwavering commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends, positions Spencer as a valuable asset in his field of marketing.
Outside of work, Spencer enjoys going on walks and spending time with his lovely girlfriend Morissa, as well as spending time with his friends and family any chance he can get.
Raffy Rueda

Raffy joined the Cornerstone Insurance family in September 2023. Prior to that, she spent two years at a lending company and dedicated six years to customer service. Raffy holds an Bachelor of Science in Accountancy undergraduate degree from the Philippines and continued her educational journey at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2018, where she earned a Business Accounting Diploma.
Beyond her professional achievements, Raffy has a passion for immersing herself in diverse cultures through their food, traditions, and fashion. Her interests span across a wide range, from exploring various music genres to indulging in fiction books, crime/theory podcasts and video gaming. Having grown up in a developing country, Raffy has cultivated a unique perspective, teaching herself to find beauty in every circumstance and to embrace gratitude and kindness
Kalyn Crosland
Account Administrator
Kal is the Cornerstone Insurance resident expert on the information flow of our commercial and personal insurance. He is responsible for the daily processing of the bulk of our client documents and data transactions into our insurance software system. He is the quiet, behind the scenes, easy going person that everyone loves to work with. He is focused on exceptional customer service through his efforts to support the brokers so they can provide an optimal customer experience to our insurance clients. Kal enjoys family time with his wife and new son. He never misses a Raider game, loves to play baseball on the Cornerstone Insurance team and he can’t wait to get out to the cabin in the summer for a little R&R.
Shayna Campbell
Account Administrator
Shayna started her career with Cornerstone Insurance as a motor license issuer, and spent a year with the issuer team. In order to pursue an education this meant moving away from Prince Albert, but Shayna was able to accept a position with the Cornerstone Insurance support team and now enjoys working with support the staff behind the scenes, while pursuing her education. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors and creating art.
Krizzia Encomienda

Krizzia graduate from a University in the Philippines with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Human Resource Development Management.
She migrated to Canada in late January 2022 and is currently settled in Prince Albert. Krizzia successfully found her place at Cornerstone and is enjoying working with the team.
She loves to travel and enjoys outdoor activities. Krizzia has a positive outlook on life, always seeing the best in difficult situations. She is determined that wherever she is, her persistence and drive will lead her to success.
Marlon LaBar
Maintenance Personnel
Marlon grew up on a family farm, where he gained hands-on experience in farming, machinery, and construction. After graduating high school in Lucky Lake, he worked as a light-duty mechanic, studied machining at SIAST, and spent time as a machinist before moving into firefighting and emergency services. After years in that field, he operated a grader in his hometown before relocating to the Prince Albert area to be closer to his kids. In the spring of 2024, he joined Cornerstone Insurance.
Outside of work, Marlon enjoys spending time with his two kids and partner, Stephanie. He’s passionate about outdoor activities like hiking, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, hunting, and mountain biking, but also appreciates quiet moments with a good book and a cup of coffee or tea. He thrives on the adventure and variety of life.

After 18 years in the medical field, where she built strong relationships through compassionate patient care, Kristen transitioned into a new professional chapter with Cornerstone Insurance. Her passion for helping others, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy made the shift seamless — and she’s embraced the opportunity to bring those same values to the world of insurance.
Kristen is known for her approachable nature, problem-solving mindset, and drive to deliver efficient, thoughtful service. Whether she’s guiding clients through their insurance needs or ensuring every detail is spot-on, her focus remains on providing an exceptional client experience.
Outside the office, Kristen leads a vibrant and fast-paced life. She’s been a proud member of the provincial women’s roller derby team for over a decade and is the co-founder of a nonprofit domestic animal rescue. When she’s not on skates or supporting her community, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and their beloved animals, exploring the outdoors, camping, working on DIY projects or cars, and enjoying time with family and friends.
